Role Overview

Self-employed drivers are responsible for completing assigned transport or delivery tasks, operating LGV or HGV vehicles safely and professionally, following route plans and handling procedures, and confirming delivery outcomes and reporting exceptions.

Drivers operate within defined service scopes and geographical allocations.

03

Vehicle & Insurance Requirements

Drivers must own or legally operate an approved LGV or HGV vehicle, maintain valid commercial vehicle insurance, ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant, and meet any category-specific licensing requirements.

Vehicles may be subject to verification before activation.

04

Operational Standards

Drivers must comply with handling and loading procedures, delivery confirmation protocols, safety and conduct requirements, and system usage for reporting and task completion.

Operational discipline is mandatory to ensure network reliability.

05

Compliance & Documentation

Before activation, drivers must provide valid driving licence for the vehicle category, proof of vehicle ownership or usage rights, vehicle insurance documentation, and acceptance of the Service Level Agreement, Data Protection Agreement, and Software & Data Exchange Agreement.

Incomplete documentation results in application rejection.

06

Performance & Monitoring

Driver performance is monitored against delivery completion rates, timeliness and route adherence, and compliance with procedures and reporting.

Failure to meet required standards may lead to suspension or termination of access.
